The charity event at which we played on 3rd March raised £2746 for the Baginton Fields and Castle Wood Schools. We're proud to have played a part in this and would like to thank Heather Scott for asking us in to play and to Bell Green Working Men's Club for hosting it.Our original drummer Terry Campbell has called it a day. We're sad to see him go, but on the principle that the show must go on, we have recruited Rob Watkins to hit things with sticks.
Plans are coming together for The Lightning Strikes Twice return visit to Munich after 2011's successful gigs. Watch this space.
The Lightning are a Midlands-based rock covers band. We play a wide range of rock music, from classics of the late 60s to 21st century rock. Our members are well-established musicians from Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
The Lightning was formed in 2006 by Steve Shepherd and Terry Campbell, and first gigged in 2007.
